Tap water at all hotels in China is not drinkable. Drink bottled water
or boiled water.

hotel bellboy. But it's not customary to tip taxi drivers or
local restaurants servers as the bill usually includes a service charge.
In towns and cities, IDD (International Direct Dial) service is
provided at most hotels and post offices. Phone cards are usually
available in hotels or at most newsstands in major cities.
In China, office hours are usually from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Major
shopping malls are open from 8: 30 A.M. or 9:00 A.M. and close at 9:00
P.M, and some even are open until 10:00 P.M.
