Day 01: arrive in Kunming which is reputed as "Spring City" because of the pleasant climate all year round and big variety of flowers, city tour, visiting the East and West Temple Pagodas which were built during the 9th century; Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archways which are among the landmarks of Kunming city; pedestrian commercial street and local market.(overnight: 4-star hotel)
Day 02: drive to Yuanyang (6 hours), one of the favorite destinations of photographers, en route, visit Stone Forest (90 kms away, 1.5 hrs' drive) which is a world natural heritage site and world geological park with amazing karst limestone landform, in the meantime, visit local villages and meet the local Yi ethnic minority people there.(O/N: 3-star hotel)
Day 03: visit picturesque terraced fields which extend kilometers from mountain top to valley bottom, and then visit local Hani ethnic minority villages with the house roofs in the shape of mushrooms
Day 04: drive to Jianshui (3 hours), visit Swift Cave which is a karst cave and is frequented by swifts every summer, hence the name, where you can taste the swift's nest, a local delicacy there and watch local masters climbing the cliffs bare-handedly for the purpose of picking the swift's nests. (O/N: 3-star hotel)
Day 05: visit Confucius Temple which is the second largest of its kind in China, City Gate, Double-Dragon Bridge, Zhu's Family Garden and Zhang's Family Garden, former residences of Qing dynasty families.
Day 06: drive to Kunming (3 hours), after arrival, visit Western Hills which is a forest park, a place to pay pilgrimages to Taoist gods and Buddhas and enjoy a bird's eye view of Kunming and Dianchi Lake.(O/N: 4-star

Day 07: visit Golden Temple which is a Taoist temple and it is famous for a 250-ton bronze temple (the heaviest in China) and a 18-ton bronze bell (the third heaviest in China), then depart |
